Amanda Carmickle is the owner at Ooh La La & Friends Salon and Spa and the creator of Ooh La La & Company Extensions.  She has been working in the industry for 18 years. She is passionate about motivating and inspiring all of the girls that work around her and they continue to motivate and inspire her as well! Working with such a great team keeps us all on our toes and doing our best work!  Amanda specializes in color, blonding and extensions. She also enjoys cutting and styling!  She is constantly working on her education for herself and the salon staff. Amanda has attended training at Bumble & Bumble University, Lanza headquarters,  and The B.I.G. Event several times in the past few years as well as other continuing education close by. Her goal is to make you look and feel your best while you are in her chair and to give you the knowledge and products to achieve the same look for when you go home! . She can be spotted behind the chair Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Hailey graduated from Taylor Andrews Academy. She has been in the beauty industry for8 years now and loves it so much she couldn't imagine doing anything else. She loves continuing her education and takes classes as often as she can. Her specialty is blonding, lived in color and extensions! She is always paying attention to every detail. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. Hailey says the best thing about doing hair is helping people look and feel more beautiful!

McKenlie Haslem, also known as Kenlie or Hope has been with Ooh La La for 9 years! McKenlie offers gel and is a very talented artist.  She can create any design that you desire. Shannon L. Reyes is a Master Esthetician and Licensed Instructor. She has such a love for her career, and community and it really shows in her knowledge for skin care. She is always researching the newest technology and adding it to her toolbelt.  As a Dermalogica Specialist,  she specializes in advanced skin care treatments, derma pen, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion's. Alysaa graduated her apprenticeship for licensure at Ooh La La in September. She completed her hours within the salon and has had great success. Alysaa specializes in color and extensions. Shelbi Norton obtained her Nail Tech license in 2018. Shelbi's welcoming personality makes you comfortable and enjoy your time spent with her.  She specializes in acrylic, but offers all things nail and loves testing her skills with hand painted nail art. Kyndi was educated at Prime Cut Academy and has been practicing cosmetology and barbering since 2006. She has passion for refining her craft in order to better serve her valued clients. Kyndi specializes in extensions, formal updos, coloring, short cuts, and barbering. Over the last decade she has attended numerous hair shows and continuing education. Kyndi believes that o matter what you do with your hair it needs your confidence and smile to make it perfect! When she is not making her client's dreams come true, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children at their family's cabin.

Ashleah was raised in Vernal and completed 2,000 hours at Paul Mitchell the School in Provo to earn her license. She has been in the hair industry since 2012.  Ashleah specializes in blonding and barbering, but loves every head of hair she can get her hands on. She is passionate about continued education and spends a lot of time furthering her skills to provide the best services possible for her guests. She is excited to offer more extensions and we all rave about her reds! She loves the outdoors and spends her free time hiking, snow shoeing, paddle boarding and working on trail maintenance in the Uintahs.

Sami has been a stylist since 2004. Her welcoming nature and sweet personality are sure to make your time with her enjoyable. She is very confident in advanced cutting skills and color services. She has recently added extensions to her menu and with her amazing color and cutting skills they blend seamlessly. She has had the opportunity to travel to the Matrix Academy in NYC as well as attend many other training classes. She has a passion for color and providing a creative and quality service for her clients. She believes in continued education and strives to expand her knowledge. She is excited to reconnect with past clients as well as meet new ones.

Brinlee became a licensed nail technician after training at Paul Mitchell School of Logan, Utah. She started in the nail industry in the spring of 2019 and has enjoyed providing spa pedicures, custom acrylic, poly gel, and hard gel for all of her clients. Brinlee has her instructors license and offers an apprenticeship program. She is very soft handed and meticulous. Brinlee is easy to talk to and always has a smile on her face. She also enjoys attending classes and trainings monthly so that she can maintain her skills and stay current with the latest nail trends. Brinlee's clients have always loved her new, exciting nail art that is always hand painted.

Alexis Harrington offers everything from Microblading to permanent makeup services. She began her training with Image Artistry LLC in May 2016. She did Microblading for 9 months, but wanted more experience in shading techniques to compliment Microblading services. After a lot of research, she traveled to the Dominican Republic in September 2017 and trained under Rita Romo, world-renowned owner of Baltic Brows.

Alexis was born and raised in Vernal. She has two boys who are her world. She is a single mom and Microblading has given her the opportunity to earn an income while doing something she loves and still have time to spend with her boys. She is currently taking new clients, and is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Jillie is back! We couldn't be more excited. Jillie will be working Mondays and Thursdays. She is a great makeup artist and hairstylist. She has been in the beauty industry for 15 years and plans to stay, in fact she's just getting started. Jillie loves to continually educate herself on the latest techniques. She helps run our continuing education at the salon. She loves her clients and wants to make sure she gives them a haircut that is easy to style and a color that's easy to maintain.
