Amanda Carmickle
Stylist/Owner/Instructor
Amanda opened Ooh La La & Friends in 2012. She has a passion for hair and the salon and spa industry. She loves being inspired by her team while coaching and watching them succeed at a career that they love. She is this years winner of the Women's SBA award for the State of Utah.
Behind the chair Amanda specializes in extensions, and color but enjoys cutting and styling as well. She believes strongly in continuing education and has traveled to BB U in New York City 3 times for hair education as well as many other classes in different areas.
Amanda started Ooh La La & Company Extensions in 2022 and has enjoyed connecting with other educators, stylists, and salons in and out of the area. She loves teaching extension education and getting to know other stylists within the industry!
In Amandas spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, loves a good day at the lake. She also enjoys decorating and projects!

Shannon Reyes
Master Esthetician
Shannon has been doing skin services and education of skincare in Vernal since 2012. She is our biggest cheerleader around the salon and keeps us all smiling and laughing each day. She has such a passion for the beauty industry it shows in all the areas of her expertise. Shannon has now licensed 3 other skin therapists through her apprenticeship program. She is currently working with Mckenna to gain her masters in esthetics.
Shannon offers micro-needling, advanced chemical peels , micro-dermabrasion, facials, and body waxing. She loves ALL things SKIN. You can check out the advanced skin treatments menu on this site to see all the wonderful treatments that are offered.
In Shannon's spare time, she is president of Rotary Club of Vernal. She loves to be outdoors and stay very active in the community.
Kenlie Haslem
Nail Artist
Kenlie has worked at the salon for years. She got her license in 2015 and came right in and was instantly busy! She works Wednesdays and Fridays and is always so welcoming.
In her spare time you will find her with her husband and kids!

Ashleah Murray
Hair Stylist & Instructor
Ashleah has been transforming hair since 2012. She got her education through Paul Mitchell the school and returned back to Vernal to get to work! She specializes in barbering, blonding and lived in colors/cuts. Her passion is not only creating beautiful hair, but in cultivating meaningful relationships with every guest.
When she is not behind the chair you can find her in her garden reading a good book, or in the outdoors hiking, kayaking or camping. She loves to be involved in our community and lives to serve in anyway that she can!
Amberly Jaramillo

Amberly has been doing hair for 25 years. She does amazing work and we are so glad we get to have her in the salon on Tuesdays! She does beautiful blondes, precision cuts and her style is so cute.
When she is not at the salon she is keeping up with her three adorable boys!
Alysaa Toler
Hair Stylist
Alysaa started at the salon as an apprentice and gained her license under Amanda. She has been graduated for almost 2 years and has been extremely successful. Her drive for perfection is very strong and will work so hard to nail your inspiration. She shines at blonding and extension work but is up for anything you send her way!
She grew up in the Uintah basin and found her forever home here with her fiance!

Erin is our queen of consultations. She really dives to help you have a clear expecation of your appointment and give you the best service that accomodates your wants and needs. She does so many beautiful vivids and shines at color services and blonding combined with extensions.
She is fun and bubbly and it is contagious to all around her. She is also recently introducing a beautiful baby into this world!

Layla graduated her apprenticeship with Amanda in January and we are so excited to see her keep growing! She loves blonding and extensions but enjoys it all! Outside of the salon she loves to be on the boat and spend time with family and friends!

McKenna began her apprenticeship in February and we are so excited to see her build onto her foundational knowledge with Shannon. She is catching right on and always paying attention to detail. She is now offering Facials, Lash lift and tint, Manicures, and Pedicures.
McKenna was born and raised in Vernal. She got married in May of 2024 to her amazing husband, and they have one golden retriever fur baby named Lulu! She is so excited for her esthetics journey!
